Do you have the 15" Screen?I am really enjoying the Comma X3 but struggle with how much of the visibility it blocks with it sitting under the rearview mirror. I am 6’4” and from that vantage it blocks a lot. I found this mount for a Kia EV6 and am wondering if anyone has seen something similar for the lightning that could be printed.

I've been considering a version of my quick dock that mounts to the dash. Since the Lightnings can't get a built right dash grid, I'll see if I can make something that would mount to the screen. Hopefully my machE screen is close enough to test with. It will take a week or two for me to work it up. Send me a DM if you are interested in discussing.Yes

I did find this dash grid for the lightning. I know I have seen a 3d print version. Would a universal comma 3 mount for this grid work better?I've been considering a version of my quick dock that mounts to the dash. I sent you a DM on discord, let’s work through the details without jumbling up the thread.I did find this dash grid for the lightning. I know I have seen a 3d print version. Would a universal comma 3 mount for this grid work better?

It definitely would not work for shorter drivers but would open up visibility for taller people. This is my view so moving it to the dash does not block any of the view out of the windshield.hmm...that would solve my problem of blocking my dash cam. Looks like that might cause a blindspot itself though since it'd probably have to be mounted fairly high

Where do you have yours current mounted in relation to the mirror? Distance to the base of the mirror? I'm 6'3" and don't have issues. It definitely would not work for shorter drivers but would open up visibility for taller people.
