Ford App v6.2.0 out for iOS & Android

i tried this this morning and still no PPO in the app.

You , me and anyone else that have virgin configurations (Haven't tweaked my settings via FORSCAN) won't see this, I suspect that Ford is still refining the matter and will update our truck configuration when they're ready to let us see it.

Using it camping this weekend was so nice. Having it hooked up to my trailer I forgot how nice it is to see how much energy is being pulled via PPO. I will say even though it’s been an annoyingly long time since they removed it, it does seem to connect way faster and update quicker than it did when they had it originally in the older app.

What FORSCAN changes need to be made? I’ve added the “keep PPOB on when truck is off” to my ‘23 but still don’t have the view in the app.

I haven't made changes to my truck yet.

@Ford Motor Company hey Brian, some people are still reporting that they don’t see the PPOB feature in the Ford app. Is it rolling out or should everyone have access now? If they don’t have it is @TaxmanHog’s solution above the best fix?

My ‘25 Flash has only received one OTA so far (about 2 months old).

Was wondering where OTA notifications are shown in the “new” app -so I’ll know where to look!!

Does this mean that there's no pattern to who gets this that we can identify? Just randomly I might get it and another person with the same software version/OS gets a different experience? In other words, the Beta a/b testing is done in production?

No PPOB for me on iOS. App updated. Force restarted and phone power cycled.

Just as I suspected, being plugged in my departure event for 0755 hrs has caused the Lightning to determine a battery warming phase should start at 0707 hrs, it quickly ramped up to 10.6 KW at the moment, let's see how long this phase lasts, it'll eventually slow or pause before cabin warming phase kicks off at 0750 hrs. While this is going on the LVB is getting some love as well.

Now 0725 hrs and the energy rate has jumped to nearly 18 KW, this has been suspected to be a battery charging effort on top of the warming effort. note the data pane for charging details is still suppressed and only says preparing cabin.

0756 update: the animated fan icon never appeared only the static icon showed from 0750 presently, energy is continuing to flow to the truck in a pattern that's indicating cycling of the PTC so I think the cabin is actually getting heated up.

Chart of energy flow and cumulative energy to the moment, it'll be about 10 kWh to prepare for the drive:

After heading the the truck, all was normal for displays & sounds, the cabin was toasty warm
Final tally of energy used was 9.9 kWh

@Ford Motor Company post #73 is feedback for the Ford App team, seems the climate start icon animation does not display during the final stages of preparing cabin using the departure time settings, the cabin was warmed.

I love the emporia app. I like all the data. I’ve got 2 emporia chargers at home. And the emporia Vue on the house and one in my travel trailer.
