Gents, I just installed my charge station pro. I set the internal dial to 48amps of max charging. Everything seems to be working as it should and Ive got a blue light pulsing on the charger. How can I tell how many amps is going in at any time? Is that in the app or on the dash? Thanks, steve

Unfortunately no, but if you use the Insights screen, it will give you a charge history, by the day, week, month and year.

Looking at the daily chart, it's detailed into 60 minute increments, you also have the charge log which will report the time it took to take on that charge, from there a quick calculation will yield the average rate of charge and further you could get the average amperage.

Week, month and year charts also though not useful to get the data you (and many of use would like to see)

The only way I know of is to install a OBD dongle linked to a third-party app to monitor the PIDs for the vehicleā€™s (two in ER, one on the SR) onboard AC-DC chargers like TorquePro (Android-only) or CarScanner.

Iā€™ve only been able to identify & monitor one of amperage PIDs, but have found the PIDs for total kW delivered and volts requested and delivered to the truck. Iā€™m using math to calculate the total ampsā€¦..

Below is a screenshot of a recent charge session that started with a 20% SoC. My general observations to date for my FCSP fed by a 240V/100A circuit and set to 80A is Iā€™m seeing an initial Power Delivered spike just over 17 kW that settles to an average 16.68 kW @ ~238V/~71A (amps calculated) until the truck reaches ~90% SoCā€¦it drops of precipitously after that (see second screenshot below).

Ford treats us like mushrooms and keeps us in the dark. I guess they feel the less we know the better.

The only way to read the power is to measure voltage and amperage at the charger. I found that delivered amperage is less than that selected by Ford Pass or the dial in the charger.
I no longer measure but I consistently got 77-78 amps on 80 amp settings.

Plug it into a Tesla! šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Edit: Plug it in to virtually any non-Ford EV.
