I had the Ford Connected 48 amp charge station installed yesterday. Works as it should and, to no surprise, much faster than the included mobile cord.
I did use public charging twice while waiting for the install, mainly just to get the process down. One time at Electrify America and one time at a Tesla station. The rest was done at home with the mobile cord.

The electrician found some room in the main 100 amp panel, luckily, because he said there wasn’t enough power in the sub panel to make it work.

Just had mine installed about a week or so ago. I wonder what the difference inside is, mine looks different.

RLXXI, you have the Ford Charge Station Pro (will work up to 80 amps - not that your 2025 Lightning will use that much), whereas Highpi has the 48 amp Ford Connected Charger.

You have the 80 amp version versus the 48 amp. It seems hit and miss on what you get from Ford.
For my needs, the 48 is plenty. I’m retired and the truck spends a lot of time parked, so I’ll just top it off to 80% every week or so.

Oh, I had no idea they had anything other than this one and the mobile one with the cable end attachments for 120v and 240v. The app has a max setting of 48a so that's all I get anyway.

I don't have details, but a bunch of people are reporting that they are getting the smaller charger, that also does not support vehicle to house system.

Well, I spoke too soon. It charges just fine, but the charge station app doesn't want to connect to the Ford pass app, for some reason. I just get the spinning vortex of death and the charge station gets stuck in some type of pairing loop.

When Lightning sales grossly underperformed Ford’s forecast, they were stuck with a bunch of FCSPs. Apparently they have given enough away with the Ford Power Promise that they are switching over the less expensive FCCS.
