Is this crack around the charge port normal?

I just noticed this small crack in the seal around the charge port. Is this normal? Or do I need to call the dealer?

that 'piece' the nick is within just looks like a surrounding 'mounting part' that is where the charge port, itself, is mounted into... there's no 'electricity' associated with it. The charge port is really just a placeholder for the 'outlet' that you plug your J1772 or CCS plug into.

No, but my charge port was recently replaced under warranty.

That's a cut IMO, not a crack. It doesn't belong.

Yep it looks like a cut not a crack. Probably cut the other one out and went too far.

Definitely cut. If it were me, it would bother me and I'd want the dealership to fix it but I also wouldn't want to deal with the dealership more than I had too so I'd sit on it a few days to see if I forgot about it.

Update: dealer replaced that part on the charge port and did a couple other minor things while I was out town this week. All better!
