Those are great lyrics, and seems like Suno is all it's cracked up to be. Been watching Rick Beato talk about it a lot on YT. I'm gonna have to give it a try for something. I may be out of a job soon! I teach music in public schools.

For me the vocals are a game changer. I could always put something together that sounded nice with my workstation and DAW but it never had much emotional impact without a good human voice. You can kick the tires with the free version and if you feel like you would want to share the output, then pay them to be fair (they will have to get some of that money to the artists they used to train the AI).

Not sure how I feel about EREVs yet. For some applications like frequent long distance towing it makes sense but full EV for most other applications makes a lot more sense to me. Especially with the new battery tech and pricing that is coming to the market.

Part of the motivation behind this song was to educate the public so we don't have to take two steps back after taking one forward. Selling EREV means going to where people are instead of trying to bring them where they should be. That sounds like a short term pragmatic approach for a company with billions on the line but a penniless dude like me with nothing at stake can afford to express what he thinks. When that aligns with Ford's direction, they can have these songs for free. I will be more than happy to support a business that brought Lightning to us without any self serving motives.

For now I remain a wishful thinker hoping for cheap or free, wildly available, fast (19.2 kW), level 2 charging with EVs that are capable of it. And affordable DCFCs everywhere that makes EREVs irrelevant. Until then, I can't blame Ford for their approach.
