Back in December mine finally updated to 6.8.0.after at least 13 days of attempts and various techniques. What finally worked was the slow charge method. Set my Emporia EVSE to charge at 24 amps and started about 9:00 pm. It was scheduled to finish charging at 2:11 so I scheduled the update for 2:00 am. Pleased to see it finally successful the next day.
I had the BMS replaced a few weeks ago (what you call the SOC module). There's a huge thread on that. Hoping it does fix my issues going forward.
I had the same problem with updating 6.8.0. After about 4 attempts in a row not working, I made sure the truck was charged to about 95% unplugged the charge cable.

The update installed, the TPMS had to be relearned.
Not sure if that's why it worked but I don't argue with success. (y)

Going off your signature, you received 6.4 and then 6.8, skipped 6.5?

I didn't think 6.5 contained much anyway, I'm on 6.4 right now (rcvd December 12) and waiting for the next one. Hopefully start seeing some 2023's on this thread as majority of these reporting successful updates that I see are the 2022's.
Correct, I don’t Believe I ever got 6.5, if i recall / understand correctly you get 6.5 only, if you didn’t get 6.2 and 6.2 fix to the Mode stick feature That was actually a bug?

Thanks Maquis. Took me a while to find that page. I assume "Tires Good" means pressure are within spec?
I don’t know for sure what that means, but I suspect it will change to a warning at the same point you get a “Low tire” warning in the car. Just my guess.

My 6.8.0 update installed easily last night. I keep a 1 amp Noco maintainer on the LVB most of the time. My LVB was showing 100% in the Ford account info. I did a manual install, turned off the truck and locked the doors. I moved the key FOB to our bedroom after reading that might make a difference. Truck was plugged in but not charging (I do scheduled charging on my charger)

I have a theory on why so many of you are having problems with failed updates. The Lightning (and probably most EVs) don't do a good job of keeping the LVB fully charged. Once a lead acid battery (an AGM battery is a form of lead acid) sits at a partial SOC for a while the battery loses capacity. That's why you see ICE cars that are mostly grocery getters needing a new battery every 2 - 3 years. So once the Lightning LVB loses capacity it becomes much harder for it to meet the OTA criteria it requires. The 6.8.0 is one of those larger updates that requires the truck to be off.

Now this is just a theory and I have nothing to back it up other than I keep a tender on my truck most of the time.

Did you have BMS sensor replaced or still have the old original one? If replaced does it show as clear in the FordPass app?

I still have the original. Just received the customer satisfaction notice on the BMS yesterday. When I did the update my NOCO maintainer wasn't showing 100% SOC (just has red light or green light) but my truck was showing 100 LVB SOC on my Ford account.

I find it odd that Ford can't just recalibrate our BMSs with a small OTA. Maybe they don't have flashable firmware.

@rugedraw @Ford Motor Company my truck it's been acting up with the 6.8.0 update. I have charged, discharged, checked 12V, Wifi connection, driving for 30min, idle for 30 min, nothing seems to work.
Same error... Interrupted by other processes
Can u help? Vin number

Your truck is recording very good battery conditions to the cloud, yet it is still failing due to unsatisfactory battery conditions. Your capacity is at 34 of 35, SoC at 94 of 100 and the battery is reading 13v. You aren't doing anything wrong and your battery seems fine. Nothing you can do but keep trying and hope it goes through. The Ford account cannot do anything to help you. I have seen this happen before. Just keep trying and it will (hopefully) eventually go through.

After a couple of failed attempts with the LVB in the 78% range it updated today after a 196 mile trip. The LVB was at 91% when I arrived home. I locked the doors, vehicle unplugged from charger & removed the fob to the house. Updated with no problem.

In my case, 6.8.0 still failing to update, BMS sensor replaced (before the update came), Dealer did BMS reset after it. I never had an issue with the updates and now I have an issue. Go figure too. CSP recall is cleared in my list... I will keep trying and see if can find the magic spell for it. F voodoo

My truck has downloaded 6.8.0. Looks like it will go from 6.2.0 directly to 6.8.0.

What have I missed?

That’s reported in Celsius, so 50 degrees F. The BMS sensor reports temp, SOC, and battery age to the PCM which decides when and how many amps to send to the battery from the DC-DC converter. Charging strategy is temperature influenced.
