I checked my ford pass app tonight to see if the $0.00 option was available. I only had 2 choices 1) pay $64.99 / month or 2) pay $650 / year. Both are in CDN funds. My trial ends in June 2026 so there is plenty of time to decide whether to renew or not.

I was poking around the app today and found this renewal option. Wasn’t sure what was going on and found this thread, so I renewed at $0! Nice.

I saw this thread today and checked and didn't have the menu item in my Ford Pass app. I updated the app and it was there. Then I didn't see the $0 option on the initial screen, just a price for monthly. I ended up selecting what appeared to not be a pressable field and it showed me the option to add a year for $0. I still had to press another button to "charge" it. I'm assuming that worked because on one screen I can see that it will take effect when my current free period ends, but in the other screen it still shows it ending at the same time. Clear as mud?

After reading @Skidrowe post #185 I went back into my Ford pass app and it now shows the $ 0.00 choice so i was able to select it and purchase an extra year.

For those not seeing it on your FordPass app, you might try logging into your Ford account and see if the offer is there under Connected Services for your vehicle.

Can confirm they are adding more VINs. I just checked again today (on the web), and where last week it was just showing the paid subscriptions, I now have the $0 12 month plan.
So if you previously did not have it, check back!
