I had time to do an install and revert back today. Your prediction is dead-on! It is motorized with an ambient light base. No error codes, just plug-and-play. I feel like I won the rotary shifter lottery with how cheap I was able to purchase it for considering what prices for this part have done of late.I think this may be motorized. Between the two I have (One motorized and one not) yours looks like the motorized version - 4 screws on top and the diamond bottom.
I sent you a DM. I can print you the cubby from endian if you want, ive been trying to figure out something to do with the rest of my glass filled ASA.I had time to do an install and revert back today. It sucks that I have to wait for the printed part for so long now. I may just attempt printing one myself. My only problem is that my son’s 3D printer does not have a big enough print bed. I may give the 2-piece modular design that endian uploaded to Thingverse a try.
At least feel free to share the part number, and even eBay link/seller if you’d like UncleTony.![]()
The only and it’s speculation reason to scratch off numbers would be recall parts?I sent you a DM. I can print you the cubby from endian if you want, ive been trying to figure out something to do with the rest of my glass filled ASA.
I'm not sure what the part number on the one you have is, but comparing them to the OEM motorized models, i believe it is an OEM shifter. I'm just not sure why they'd go through the effort of scratching off the part number and "Fomoco".
I greatly appreciate your offer! That would be a huge help for me, and I would be able to get it installed that much sooner.I sent you a DM. I can print you the cubby from endian if you want, ive been trying to figure out something to do with the rest of my glass filled ASA.

I have had one of these in my eBay cart for a bit. I just saw it was from Multisurplus. What is the issue there?I’m compiling a verified list of Ford rotary shifter part numbers.
The current working theory is that part numbers starting with LX6P or LX6Z typically refer to motorized rotary shifters. These are commonly used in 2020–2022 Escape, Bronco Sport, and others.
I’m hoping to collect real-world confirmations so we can build a reliable cross-reference list for retrofits and replacements.
If you’ve used one of these parts, please reply with the following:
LX6P-7P155-XX believed to have the blue light in dial base (ring)
- Part number (example: LX6P-7P155-EH)
- What vehicle it came from (year and model)
- Whether it is confirmed to be motorized (yes/no)
- Any other notes (source, behavior, fitment issues, etc.)
Motorized Rotary Shifters
These rotary shifters have a built-in motor that automatically rotates the knob into "Park" when the vehicle powers off.

Check out @Mike G 's install method here - This is the best way I have seen it done so far if you care about keeping all your clips intact.
Please add any others you’ve verified, or correct anything above if you’ve found otherwise. Once we gather enough data, I’ll update the first post with a full list of confirmed motorized part numbers.

Thanks in advance for contributing.
They are selling PZ1P-7P155-AC as LX6Z-7P155-U. If you want a non motorized one, you are good. But you won't get the LX6Z-7P155-U from them.I have had one of these in my eBay cart for a bit. I just saw it was from Multisurplus. What is the issue there?
Good note, thank you. I think I was leaning toward motorized. They are selling PZ1P-7P155-AC as LX6Z-7P155-U. If you want a non motorized one, you are good. But you won't get the LX6Z-7P155-U from them.
Ford part numbers usually are newer revisions if it's only the last two digits that are different. IE - higher # or letterI ran across a few used ones on eBay that might work if anyone is interested in taking a chance. Both are around $85 with free shipping. They are both listed as 21 Bronco Sport and the model number is similar to others verified in this thread, but the last 2 letters are different. For example, the 1st one below is the same model as my motorized one except the last letter id D while mine is E. Mine is from a 21 Bronco Sport as well.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/396923794998 - Model LX6P-7P155-LD - $85

The diamond pattern isn't an indication of a knock off. I actually think it is an indicator of it being motorized. Mine did have the diamond pattern and 4 screws on the top instead of 3. The ring is also separate from the top piece on the motorized variants.@UncleTony - Has it been determined if the units with the diamond pattern on the bottom are knock-offs?
Did your -A version have the diamonds or the smooth/plain bottom with FoMoCo etching?
