I know I heard Jim say we would have 1.2 (which subsequently became 1.3) by year-end. I have to admit he did not specifically state it would be this year-end.

But hey, there are two days left so it could happen. (Please no-one hold your breath. I wouldn’t want to be held responsible if something happened to you if you do).

I’ve got a big road trip from Austin to Moab in mid-April. As long as we have BC 1.3 and Tesla SC access by then, I will be a happy camper.

Something terrible has happened with their attempts at bc 1.2/1.3 in the lightning.

It's not working and has probably had at least one full redesign at this point.

i had to reboot mine twice to get Bc to work again and then it stopped working the next day (12-20) hadnt worked since. taking it in 1-8 to get it checked.

It won't happen. All the salaried techs that live in cubicles are home resting this holiday season. Only the factory rats are working.

You clearly haven't seen the YT video from a few months ago.

The lack of available information has left me speculating.
Mainly because in April, Ford sent out an email touting bc 1.2 being released with lane change and other upgrades. 1.2 was killed completely and 1.3 hasn't come out yet. The series of power up's that were supposed to deliver bc 1.3 have now turned into a jumbled clusterF, causing multiple new problems.

They haven't been very open about bc development or timeline or problems.

Mach-Es failed to get BC update this summer, and now 2023 will end without it. I would not expect Lightning to get it for a while.
