The setting is poorly worded IMO. The schedule is actually only for co-called "inhibit" updates - the truck has to off the entire time.
A lot of updates, like this one, occur while the truck is on and typically while you're driving.

Received this yesterday. No toggles for WAL, but when I went into a restaurant received FordPass notice that the doors locked via WAL.

So does your update say 25.2.1.6.X or 25.2.1.6.5?
Weird that .5 said it was WAL but wasn't and that .X says it's not WAL but is.

That schedule only applies to OTAs that requires your truck to be shutdown during it.

I just got the SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 update. I’ll check tomorrow if the WAL option is available in the settings now but it sounds like it won’t be.

I go this last week with the WAL verbiage but I have had WAL since my last dealer service that included some TSB's or campaign or whatever. There is still no control I can find that allows me to disable/enable it.

I also have XLT without walkaway locks. Why did I get this update lol

Works with key fob I believe even if you do not have PaaK. Mine work with the key fob even though I have PaaK
