I installed the Builtrite bracket on the rear seat back (left side) yesterday, and while doing so I saw a slightly complicated looking plastic box with wires going in and out. Guessing modem?
Would it hurt anything to unplug it and then plug it in again? Or would it generate a nuisance code? My 2023 Lariat ER is not updating, and the OTA folks say it is constantly broadcasting data to them. Apparently this began April 2d, 10 days before we bought it.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this. Diagnostic appointment isn’t until June 17th.

Did you take a pic? Any part numbers on it?

Thanks for the diagram. It’s definitely #7. DSP? ?‍♂
Part of the B&O audio system. There are dozens of modules hidden in your truck. All in plastic cases with lots of wires. You just saw one of them. Your issue is with one you can't see.

Its a lot easier to just pull the fuse for the TCU for 5 minutes to reset it than figuring out what to unplug behind the back seat.

Its a 3 section fuse and it is for the TCU and the inclinometer. The 5 amp fuse next to it is a spare and that can into the inclinometer position
