How do you shut the unit down? I don't see any buttons or switches but maybe I'm overlooking them.

The circuit breaker on your home or garage load center.

Thanks again. Just got off the phone with Ford support. They had me do the same thing. After reboot it went back to available status. They said the OTA updates should happen overnight between 1a and 3a (couldn't confirm time zone) and that it must not be plugged into truck or else OTA wouldn't run.

The truck is making intermittent requests for a charge, the target is reached in that time frame and it clicks off.
Powered my FCSP off/on (from the circuit breaker) and logged into it last night - my FCSP firmware and software are the same as yours, and my truck power-up is 3.5.4 now. I typically wait till the battery is below 20% before I plug it in to charge overnight, and I'll charge it up to 90%.

Your comment about intermittent requests lit the fuse in my brain - wondering if it might be the old iPhone I've been leaving plugged in in the truck overnight. That USB port probably trickle charges the device even when the truck is off. Going to disconnect it and see if the FCSP still does the same thing.

So I got the software update. I get the error every 30 minutes now then it resumes charging after a couple minutes. Bang-up job by Ford to "thereifixedit" this.

Hmm, maybe it's not an FCSP problem...? Received this message in FordPass last night and in the truck itself this morning.

I don't have any electrically-connected after-market devices. Looks like I'll be scheduling a service visit near future.

Good point - thanks for the info in both posts, much appreciated. I'll TRY to check mine when I get home tonight - I've had problems connecting to the station from my phone.
@gsquirrel02
it takes me about a minute (maybe a bit more) to connect FCSP.
My overheating stopped after I got .66 update, .70 assume further revisions.

charger insights reports all energy from multi hour charge put into truck in a 1 hour reporting slot.

Today I needed to restart my FCSP (breaker off/on), it had not been reporting up to the mothership since last Friday afternoons charge session had completed. No charging was done over the weekend since we used the Mrs. car.

This is an image of my station while it's connected to the network and sending data to the Ford, the Ford Pass app retrieves and reports our stat's in the app, when it is not connected, a red instead of blue bar shows on the left the account name.

There were no changes to the firm/software, must have just needed a reboot..

Did you allow any 3rd party apps to access your truck data? Utility, for example. Those have been known to cause an electrical drain due to pinging the truck frequently.

Hmm, there's an organization tracking my mileage via telemetry (for tax purposes) on behalf of the state of Virginia. I'll check into that. Good looking out - forgot about them.

I have a similar device for the same reason here in Oregon. Mine will plug into the OBD port, is supposed to be extremely low power consumption.

Same with mine….thanks for the heads-up!

BTW, I was also able to tell my FCSP was offline by looking at this screen (photo below)….the usually is a blue bar like on the charger itself…although the indicator light on my charger is BLUE, my iApp is now showing BLACK before the “power breaker” reset…..

After the power reset……it took about 5 min. to show the below change in the app…….

Yup, that was my first clue something was amiss.
