Has anyone used the Hansshow NACS to CCS1 at Tesla Super Charger. Below are the specs. I’m very skeptical but perhaps someone on the forum has used one for charger at Super Charger.

sw engineering manager,
The 2.5 ft length does not seem useful with the F150. The 5ft would be helpful. But still seems like it might be a bit short.

Looks intriguing. Never heard of this company before.

They beat A2Z to the market with the extension as A2Z still says "coming very soon" for their extension cord. It's been "coming soon" for about two years now.

$600 for a 5' DC extension is pretty steep. As much as I'd like to get one, I don't DCFC enough to justify it.

The A2Z cable says it will be 6'. Now I'm curious to see what their price will be and if the competition will make both of them more reasonable.

Doesn’t matter how long it is or isn’t. It’s an unsafe design that is missing an interlock/auto shutoff on the NACS end!

Not just no, but h$@l no.

I keep checking on the A2Z model, 6 feet is about right from my own checking at a DCFC - but the price will need to be sensible...I recently needed to use the DCFC in Prawda Manitoba and there was only one station open when I arrived...lucky for me it was the end unit so I wasn't blocked/blocking others to get to it. If a middle of the row station had been the only one available, I wouldn't have been able to use it, and would have been waiting.

I rather doubt existing DCFC are going to add longer cords any time soon, so this drives my interest in a 6-foot cord, that is safe and tested.

Being first to market with an inferrior, unsafe product is not being first to market.

very true, limited to 100kW charging rate - but better than getting zero-kW while parked, waiting for a charger that can reach the truck charge-point IMHO.

In locations with huge DCFC stations with dozens of chargers, this may never be a problem, but in the places I travel, these stations are 4-6-8 ports only at this point. I hope more get built out sooner than later, but meanwhile I would be happy to pay a few hundred dollars for the 6-foot extension cord A2Z are working on.

Having watched both videos linked in post #3, not just no, but HELL NO!!!

Way too many issues. Just how hot it got was scary. Really would not want to handle 140 degrees for long without gloves, and obviously serious issues if it's getting that hot.

And the reality is that I don't SuperCharge all that often, so I will stick with my A2Z adapter...

No, thanks.

With 50k miles of road tripping in our EVs, I’ve only rarely even wondered if an extension would have made the charging experience better. And the answer has always been a solid, “no.” That 100 kW is a dream and likely only possible with a properly cooled extension. A max of 50 kW is safer. At that point, it's safer and not much longer just waiting for a good plug instead of using an extension.

How do you limit the rate to 250A (100KW)?

That's the problem - you can't. What I don't know is if the charge rate limit available in the 2025 MY works on DCFC or only on AC charging.
