Pro Power Onboard Relay Location?

Hi All. Wondering where all of the relays are for the pro power 9.6kw system. The interior outlets seem to always default to "on", but I have to turn the bed and frunk outlets on through the touch screen. Are the relays in the box under the hood (I don't see them listed in the owner's manual)? Or in a special module somewhere?

I suspect (without proof) they are internal to the DC/AC inverter.

Kind of what I'm guessing also. You would think they would be serviceable, though. Hopefully someone can answer! Maybe I'll listen for clicking later in the garage with someone inside turning them on/off.

Typically 'fuses' are on the Inverter, itself, and with the truck, the extended fuse locations in the bed simply tie back to those... but, all are made 'active' by the truck's software. CAB outlets are 'always on', but Frunk and Bed outlets have to be either turned Active via the center screen, thru ProPower, or at the outlets themselves... which also allows you to RESET them, the same way.

I don't have one so I can't look, but if there are ethernet sized cables going into the inverter then it's almost certainly internal.

There has to be a relay or a transistor for each set of outlets. One for the frunk, one for the bed, one for the interior. How else would they switch on and off? Either different sections of the inverter are powered on and off via transistor/relay, or the inverter is always fully powered (what I would suspect), and the output is relayed to the different outlets as you turn the on/off from the infotainment screen.

I was looking at the wiring diagrams last night and all I saw was a fuse leading straight to the inverter. Which typically means any relay would be integral.

Got interrupted before I could finish looking, I'll dig into this evening some more to be certain.

This is what I would expect….the inverters are switched on/off by a comm signal. The “switch” is part of the inverter.

Looking for the relays, not the fuses.

Most likely internal , putting a relay on the outside would be more expensive and harder to seal out the road salt and water mist these trucks get subjected too. Most manufacturers do not care about service ability anymore to prove my point just look at Stelantis and the IPM modules

As far as I'm aware, there is none. The inverter output goes directly to the outlets. It is 2025. I would not expect there to be relays.

There have to be relays or transistors or the outlets couldn't be turned on and off remotely. It's just a question of where they are located. Inside the inverter, or elsewhere. Serviceable or not.

If the "AI Overview" is correct as others have suggested it seems the "relay" function is internal to the inverters that power the PPOB controlled by software, so no physical relays just an inverter on-off through the menu as I understand it.

There does not have to be the relay you are searching for on the AC side of the inverter. The inverter can just not have power to its DC input side via MOSFET (yes I know this is a form of transistor), which might not be accessible at all. Or, there could be a thyristor on the AC output of the inverter.
