My 2024 had the update installed by a mobile tech yesterday. Dealership called with a cancellation so I took the open slot. Still trying to determine the differences myself. Tech did say multiple modules were updated as part of the recall. No specifics offered.

I cannot check in the Ford App to see if it was cleared there. TCU / GWM is acting up and no Ford App connectivity, nor WiFi, no Connectivity settings screen or talking to the Ford mothership.

got the letter earlier this month. I'm waiting on both this recall as well as the rear light bar inspection. post posted as "remedy not available" waiting parts.

I got the recall letter as noted before. The recall appeared briefly in the Ford app a week or two back. But now there is a "0" under the Active Recalls. I'm close to my first 10,000-mile inspection, so I'll presumably see what's what when the truck goes in for that.

My selling dealership is over 200 miles away. I wonder how any mobile service would be handled on mine? I have around 7 stealerships within 60 miles of me and one right here but I'm not sure who would have the best BEV expertise back in the shop. So far I haven't said anything about the recall and have received nothing from the selling dealership. Any way I can find out which dealer has the best and most knowledgeable service advisor and mechanic? Maybe one who has the most sales possibly?

You can use any ford dealer for warranty. Maybe try google reviews of the dealerships near you to find one or look for dealers that have chargers installed and/or have EVs on the lot?

I don’t use the closest dealership to my home, I go to one 40 miles away because they have a good EV tech and sold a lot of EVs and have chargers on the lot.

I feel like we could maybe start a “good EV dealer” by state on a shared google doc or something.
