I think what we're all finding out during this 'process' is that Ford is providing no rhyme or reason as to 'why' or even 'when' they move your build week. It can happen at ANY time, any day, any hour.

My original hope when I ordered was getting the truck in September, then I foolishly got my hopes up for sooner. I'm back at hoping I see it in September!

Only thing that would be a killer is to get the truck, then a few weeks later Android Automotive MY23 is out and it's a noticable upgrade. If I was 6 months before MY23, I could live with missing a new feature. 6 weeks before MY23 and it stings a bit getting the worst of both worlds.

Welp, wave 1 order just got added to 7/25. Similar roller coaster as many others here. Original production of 6/13 >> 6/20 >> 7/13 >> 6/20 >> 7/4 >> 7/25.

Here we go again. Wave 1 Pro order. Originally 5/30. After a bunch of moves backward here I are for another week until we get bumped again.

Coming from a different process experience (happy to get an invite, but starting to worry about a 2023 delivery) I too would like AA. In order to alleviate that variable in my scenario, I finally realized the feature is not worth the tax credit, or even half of it, not to mention inflation increases. So I am sticking with MY2022.

I assuredly would rather have $7,500 than AA. Though if MY22 production is delayed, then so is Ford's time line to cross the sales threshold for the tax rebate. Due to this, I don't think both of these items are mutually exclusive in all cases.

I would say already taking/soon taking delivery is the best scenario. Next best is early MY23. After that is late MY22. Finally, there's the everyone else class. Bronze medal isn't too bad, which is where I'm sitting.

Wave 1 here to make you feel better. Dealer accepted immediately after ordering immediately when the banks opened. Don’t think that affects you.
