Pretty sure I don’t understand all the nuances here, but I got my last update a little less than a month ago. See signature.

You don't say what year your truck is, but I'm guessing 23. This thread is referring to 2022. But in general the issue is that *nobody* understands all the nuances. Updates are rolled out *individually* to each vehicle depending on 12 volt state of charge, phase of the moon or who knows what. You could have an identical truck to your neighbour, same configuration and build date, and one of you gets an update and the other gets nothing for a year or more. It's great that you are getting updates, but that doesn't help the rest of us.

And they are making it more expensive, even impossible in some cases (see APIM fiasco) for us to do our own updates even if we do buy the hardware and software. So it's generally frustrating.

Yes, a 23, it’s in the signature. I wasn’t speaking to the OTA methodology, if there is one. It is opaque and maybe even random and unfair. I was trying to make the point that some OTA processes seem to ongoing and to support Brian’s statement.

Is your truck connected to Wi-Fi? I have found that most updates will not occur if the truck is only on cellular. This is even true with my '24.
Your understanding is not correct. Updates are downloaded via cellular, usually while driving. When you park and go to shutoff, you get a notice that an update is ready to app,y.

Have you set the automatic update time?
Schedule is to APPLY updates that require immobility.

Not abandoning y'all! Updates will be coming.
It is winter. No preconditioning for my 2022 on way to a fast charger. In 3 months I won't care until next winter.

My truck will no longer connect to my Wi-Fi. What is a solution to fix this other than disconnecting the 12-volt battery in the frunk area? Unless that is the fix for this issue!

In short, don't worry about it. If it has a cell signal (AT&T) when you're driving it, you're fine.

Oddly enough, I'm not as concerned with getting the recall, but I've been hoping that since it has something to do with the infotainment system that there's at least a slim chance it may also fix the problem with not seeing the artist and song on Sirius XM.

I found a quirky workaround. If I switch to CarPlay or the map, it allows me to show what's playing on the right side (I have the smaller screen, so the right side can be used for widgets like current trip, bed camera, etc.). All other times, the artist and song are missing.
My truck has a solid WiFi signal and the dashboard and the App say there are no new updates.
