Thanks guys! I think i'm ready to take the jump. I like blue cruise, i have the 1.4 but would love it on surface roads. Is comma better on the highway than bluecruise too?
I find Comma to have less ping pong than Blue cruise.

Only has 21-23 F150 listed as options for the harness. It does say Q4. Will that work with my 2025 Lightning?

Lighting is not officially supported because of the need for the resistor box. But the Q4 harness in a 2025 is confirmed to work.

Wow, there is so much information in this thread, hard to keep up with all the information and best practices.

Is there just a purchasing list for everything I'd need to have the best chance of this installing error free? Comma plus best cables? Resistor? anything else that would make the install go smoothest?

Is there a good youtube video on the proper install and testing?

Thanks guys and sorry for asking such simple questions!
some great info for you

Comma and resistor ordered! Looking at the sliding mount now as well. What's the difference between the standard mount and 8 degree mount? I also saw the possibility of mounting it just above the screen and not on the windshield?

I swapped in the adapter @UncleTony made and removed my Extended Harness solution. My extended harness had been having some errors so I also used a new USB cable (and even ran a second one that is sitting there in case I get issues with the current USB cable). No error codes. Thank you for this clean elegant solution!

8 degree mount is for trucks, that is the one you need. Standard is for cars and small SUVs.

I made a screen mount and sent it out for testing and the results were not great. The control was poor becasue of how low the device was.. It also broke when hitting a railroad crossing. I could resdesign it for enforcement to prevent the breakage, but the poor control would remain. The best practice is to mount it right under the mirror using the windshield based mount.

Posting this so it is more likely to be seen by new users.

Lighting Coupler Orders are being taken at:

https://bluepilot.dev/lightning-coupler-order-page/.

I just got the shipping notification, so I am hoping to have them some time next week (this depends on customs and DHL). Expect 1-2 week lead time once they are in my hands as I need to test and build all of the reservations The order form was down due to an issue with the platform we are using, but it is back up now.

Just installed my C3X with the coupler and it is working splendidly! Loving using it on non-highway roads and not getting nagged to jerk the wheel on straightaways. Took it for a spin, got a car-wash, came home and was sitting in the driveway and got a SVS light. See below:

What's the over/under on the Comma vs. water somewhere it shan't be vs. random issue with outrageous timing?

That is with the coupler installed? The 24’s are known to have weird AC issues with the comma hardware in general.

Are you using the comma power?

Yes with coupler and the comma power connected may be worth noting I installed the coupler under the camera housing if that matters

Location wouldn't matter with the production coupler. I've had a report of AC oddities with the comma power and coupler installed. It only effects the 24 for some reason.

Try unplugging the comma power and see if the issue goes away.

You may have to clear the DTC before it's happy again.
