Is the last Lightning EV ever made out there?

I wonder if the very last Lightning to roll off the assembly line is still on a lot somewhere. Makes me kinda sad to know they couldn’t even celebrate the last one rolling out since they didn’t know it at the time. I heard they produced just shy of 100k Lightnings?

They should number it and put a "Final Edition" badge as she rolls off the line.. Make it a one-off King Ranch and sell it for 300k, lol

Politics does shift, over time, and Lightning will be super hot again, when it does...

Also, could you tell us the total number of 2025 Lightnings produced, and the grand total of all Lightnings built from 2022 to 2025?

I've collected the serial numbers and they are all over the place (of course)

However, they all seem to have a 10/10 - 10/14 blend date....

Don't waste your time looking at dealer inventory window stickers, vin serial numbers are not 'always' sequential, as Ford schedules production based of flows of resources, so the last VIN numerically won't necessarily be the "LAST" one that traveled down the line.

lol it's already rolled off the line considering production never started back nor will it.

Trouble is, there were hundreds of unfilled dealer orders.

These still say pending, and will not be getting built and shipped....

Some of these dealers may have no idea that the order was not built and will not be coming...

hmm news to me and chatgpt but wouldn't be the first time. Thought I recalled it stopping shortly after the fire and was supposed to be short term but then extended indefinitely to poof.
