Do you lose radio presets when disconnecting 12v battery?

All the other vehicle setting are stored in flash/nonvolatile storage, why not the radio presets?

I had my first Ford pass freeze today. I ended up pulling fuse 32 and it reset immediately in the app. I'm not sure I want this to be the common solution (or disconnecting the 12V), I hope Ford rolls out a OTA fix soon.

Yesterday was my 6th time my Ford pass freezes in less than 2 weeks. I am now annoyed to keep disconnecting the 12V. This happens every 2-3 days. Ford really needs to step up their game on the technology side to keep up with competitions.

Last time I did the battery disconnect and it worked. I didn't like the sparks so I did fuse 32 this time. Didn't work. And I broke a plastic piece in the process. I had it out for close to a minute. This is ridiculous. Now if they say there is a software update that will fix it, I am afraid to update because I think this may have been caused by the last update and I am not sure if this is a perpetual issue (adding more problems than removing with OTA updates). Frankly if it was not for needing the app to use the free EA charging, I would uninstall the app and enjoy the freaked out modem. I was going to disconnect it anyway.

Edit: I pulled the wrong fuse from under the Frunk. 32 does in fact work. Posting this in case someone else is as confused as I was. Did not lose any radio stations doing this.

It's definitely confusing why things work for some people and not others.

I had it once and fixed it my way and it has never failed since.

Under hood fuse box slot 33 is a spare 20 amp

Cabin fuse block #25 #37 are also spare 20 amp

It won’t. When I reset it last week, everything went silent on the truck, cooking fans etc.

Don’t put it back in upside down. Gives off all sorts of error codes

But when put back in correctly my app was working and connected again

So an update, I replaced the fuse (thanks Taxman for the tip on spares) and nothing changed.

Then I realized I couldn't even lock/unlock the doors with the remote. In fact, there was no juice at all.

Had roadside dispatched and the driver put a jump start box on the points in the frunk and it came back to life. I was able to drive it to my dealer, where they determined the 12V battery is defective. They had to jump it again at the dealer.

Should get it back today. With there was a way to check 12v system voltage...
