So... guess the "OTA on" rate for F-150 owners? All owners, not just BEV.

OK, spoiler, about half. So, despite the outrage on most forums about slow/no OTAs, most of all y'all don't give a rip. So, how do you gently prod people to turn on OTA? You send them a nice notification.

But it *seems* like Ford could differentiate which people already have it on, like myself?

A lot to ask, I know…

Went from 3.1 straight to 3.5.2 earlier today. Like many others, I've had the auto updates, wifi, etc. all setup since new but this is the first update since approx. a month ago. Received the app notification a minute after turning the car off after a 20 min drive - so either the notification was delayed, or it updated while driving. I had checked to see if I had moved off 3.1 about two hours prior and it had not. No PAAK in the app at this point, but haven't been back in the truck yet to see if there is anything there.

I never received 3.4 and I just got this update.

I've had my PRO for two weeks... and over 1,600 miles since. This is the first notice of any 'ota' update, and it says basically nothing.

I got the update this afternoon, appears to have applied while we were driving to lunch.
It was not applied this morning when we were out on errands.

Appears this is the foundation for future features (maybe things like PAAK) global activation for those of use who don't have it activated yet.

Sync 4A had no changes with this update, still at same level as in 3.4

this seems the best interpretation. And so, for those of us already activated and having already received several prior OTA updates, the notice is at first a head-scratcher

It could also be a catch all / catch up as well as foundation for other enhancements NOT talked about.

FYI, I had to force kill the FordPass app, then restart to get PAAK to show up.

Setup was quick and successful. I sat in the truck with it running and made sure that location was set to always on for FordPass.

When you are trying to add your phone to your profile, when it says “press the lock button“ in FordPass in the steps, that meant ”press and hold the lock button” for me to get it to pair successfully.
