Used our Lariat SR during a power outage. 30 amp outlet to generator interlock inlet. Furnace, wifi, fridges, microwave all ran. Family was super happy.

Nice! Do you have more details on what your generator inlet setup is like? This is the setup Iโ€™d like but I have read various things about the GFCI tripping unless you do something different with neutral/ground lines?

+1 to more details. I was also of the understanding this would not work. However I think it depends on how the inlet is wired. My electrician installed a 50amp inlet tied to mechanical interlock and is adamant I am good to use my bonded neutral generator (contrary to a lot of internet โ€œelectriciansโ€) so since the truck is also bonded neutral maybe mine will work as well. I have to carve some time to test both!

Truck must be grounded. Home must have multiple independent grounds. They donโ€™t have to be the same.

Tested my Reliance thru the wall setup and it works fine if you do not mind extension cords running everywhere!

Top and bottom three 120V receptacles split the 240V power, so can load top 3 with 120V at 30A, and then same for bottom 3.
I am a little suspicious that the 18" of wire they use is rated at 30A, but it is solid wire, at least 14awg (did not measure or get a read on any wire markings). Usually #10awg is for 30A. Could not open their 120V, 6-receptacle box to see quality there, but put about 2500W on top receptacles and did not feel any warmth.

Why is it that the Pro Power shows the VA / Watts exactly, but the Scales only show a green bar going up without a weight estimate? Estimate of weight would be fine by me.

Iโ€™m not sure what you mean by this. A structure must have one grounding electrode system. If more than one electrode is present, they must all be bonded together. Per the NEC.

In my home, there are 3 independent grounds that tie into the circuit breaker panel. There is a certificate from the electrician who upgraded my system 25 years ago and added a copper bar ground rod to go with the original copper water pipe ground (jumper around meter) and a stranded aluminum wire that connects to the ground on the power line pole.

The fact that they all 3 tie together in the panel means that they are bonded to form a single grounding electrode system (GES). They are not independent.
Sounds like your electrician did it correctly.

That looks like a Reliance Controls panel. What is the model number?

Reliance Controls 30 Amp 7500W 10-Circuit Indoor Transfer Switch Kit
Model # 310CRK|Store SKU # 1001061741 Canadian Home Depot US unit maybe different.
I took the generator connector plug out of the remote outside box, and installed it in the optional position in the transfer switch panel. Since the Lightning has no gas fumes I kept the system all in the garage.

This is cool! Could you go into some more detail about your approach? The parts you used, etc?
