To anyone that doesn't already know: This OTA replaced 6.13.0 on BC equipped vehicles. It will fix BC if it broke for you after you got 6.13.0.

Let us know when it successfully loads, unfortunately mine has failed twice 😞.

I was never notified of this update, like you have been so it looks like it’s just a matter of uploading it!

Thanks @mr.Magoo for the heads up. Just started the truck, got it downloaded and hit install now. Will know more shortly. LVB is at 44%. I checked this weekend and it had hit 81%. So this will be interesting, I'm guessing I should truly expect at least one failure.

Update came up when I got home from a short trip. 12V battery was 70% an hour ago (before trip). But I kicked it off with Update Now. But surprisingly the update didn't fail right away. It's updating now, lots of bee sounds alternating between front and back. Says it will take as much as 50 minutes.

Edit - completed. Bees buzzed from 4:15 to 4:40ish, Then relays clicked, thought about it for a couple of minutes, then flashed Update Complete. Total time about 30 minutes. I think the 50 minutes is if it needs a rollback (from a note I got on a previous failure). Notice in FordPass that it was complete appeared shortly thereafter. 12V Battery now at 72% so it must have charge some on the short trip home.

Well - here's one for you. My CMR-FX finished install, looks good from the message in the truck. I didn't get an app notification when done.

The kicker - my LVB was under 40%.

I sat in the truck about 5 minutes and now the DOR-UP2 SW popped up and is installing as we speak.

I posted this on the DOR-UP2 thread but both those updates were very similar in that there were a lot of whirring/buzzing noises alternating between the back and front. And at the end, there were definite relays clicking. I wonder if an earlier update finally enabled DC-DC charging the 12V from the HVB.

You should invest in a BT dongle and the CarScanner app. For DOR-UP2 I measured 12V SOC before and after. It went up from 72 to 73. In the past these updates always drained the 12V.

Got this today also, successfully installed without issue. I got 6.8 in December but never got 6.13, for what it's worth.

I actually have a BT and a Wifi version of the dongle. I checked the LVB on the web site, but I'm a gambler. I knew it was low, I wanted to see how Ford would handle it.

It had been over 80% this weekend. Then as the updates were about to start I knew they would surely fail.

I've now had these two inhibit updates successfully install with LVB below 40%. I don't know how much more we can use that as an excuse now when we have failures. I'll continue to watch future updates.

Interesting, maybe I'll get this in the near future.

I don’t think we can anymore, both my failures it’s been above 80%.

I was going to note, just this past weekend I was finally out on an open road and had tested my BC (I had 6.13 from December installed). It worked just fine. So I'm not sure I really had the problem, but either way I'm glad to get the fix SW. Now maybe on to 6.14. Should be soon. MachE's have had it now for a couple of weeks.
