Check your vehicle data via FORD.COM to see if PT-5.8.5 actually succeeded prior to 25.2.1.6.5.2, if it didn't it''ll come around the mountain once again, might take a few days/weeks/months.
I tried that and it didn't show up. I guess the waiting game begins...again.

I believe you have to turn the truck on, to turn on PPOB, then click the toggle to keep it on while off.

Then you can turn truck off and it will stay on.
Not seeing a slider…not a huge deal but just wondering if I’m missing something somewhere. I hooked up my shop fan to the front cabin outlet pulling a steady 250w and I see no slider. I get a message saying the vehicle power down timer is disabled and the truck will stay on until I hit the power reserve. But no slider that I see.

you also need to enable this setting via forscan to have the slider show.

Ahhh…must have missed the forscan requirement. Thanks.

This update did wipe out my charge locations. They were there right after install, but last night charged to 100. This morning charge locations gone

I just received the update notice and decided to ā€œUpdate Nowā€. It says I can’t update now because my battery is low. I’m at 86%. I had checked my 12V a couple weeks ago and it was fine. Any ideas?

Mine failed last night at 91%. What in the world?

See posts 24 & 25. You need to charge the 12V more.

This update may have saved me some headaches: My battery voltage was at 12.1. I was driving quite a bit this weekend. No way it should be that low. Off to the dealer for warranty claim!

Received and installed this morning PT-25.8.5.... '23 XLT ER

I will check later to see if the radio presets are still there and if there are changes to pro power. But the app still shows my preferred home charging location.

Installed last night, but of course, my charge settings were all reset, so my truck charged to 100%, and top of it all, I can't seem to set my Preferred Charge Times/Charge Location on the Ford App.

Use the Sync screen after one charging session at the location.

I kept my truck running for over 10 hours to charge the 12v and still won’t update.

@Ford Motor Company Hey Big Bri not AI, A long time ago I suggested that when they sent the OTA, the language should include what would be reset... Apparently they didn't listen to you.

Okay folks this is what I discovered on my scavenger hunt on my 23 XLT ER.

Came out to the vehicle this afternoon with
1) Low voltage power saving mode

2) Bings, bongs, dings and dongs all low battery sounding. It reminds me of my childhood toys....

3) IC was all reset along with the brightness on the highest setting. I had to re-customize "My View"... Had to get rid of Calm Screen, Trip 1, Brake coach and reinstate power levels and truck angles/pitch screens.

4) Infotainment, yes radio stations reset BUT XM set station were all preserved

5) Target Charge Locations: App still had my home set location for charging but the truck had erased ALL prior charging locations BUT 1. A location that I believe is the FIRST ONE that was ever used in my brand new trucks possession. LMAO.
I did try and force the app to program the truck for my target charge location but received errors, no less the error came in as a "preferred charge times" error. That would have been really cool if the app could have done so. I did try and force this push while sitting in the truck and the app did communicate and woke the truck up.... But still no dice

6) Audio setting change. The EQ tone setting all reset to default center position.

7) This is a new one for me folks: The truck now defaults to power down timer as OFF. And if I turn the setting on then off, I NOW receive a message about pro power. But if I do turn off the truck, pro power turns off. BUT pro power will run in accessory mode. I do not believe this was the case in the past.

8) Once again an update ERASED ALL MY SAVED APP MESSAGES... this includes billing messages for dc charging and recent vehicle error messages. I am glad I take screen captures since the last time this :poop: occured with an ota update.

I still have to redo my charging location and will see if the IC will now show the rate.

Once I returned home I put the battery on the tender because of the powersaver mode message. Which I feel is super odd and I think its related to this new update, not because it drained the battery that much during the update... Why do I say this? Well because not only did I charge the truck using my L2 charger for 4 hours before hand, but I also ran the update right after my work commute.

When I put the LVB on the tender after my short commute home it was already sitting at 12.6v. go figure...:sneaky:

Ford replaced my battery under warranty yesterday. There still wasn’t enough juice to run the update. No biggie. I charged up last night and came out this morning to unplug and leave. Not only did the update not take place (expected), but my truck wouldn’t start. At least I got some practice jump starting the 12v šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. I don’t know what happened there.
