Well done sir, well done. I’ll be following this thread.
Rolled the dice on this ER battery on eBay. Anyone else out there do this yet? Wish me luck boys and girls.

Keep all of us posted for those of us with the standard range battery that would be the best thing for us all to go extended range

Wow- can’t wait to hear how this goes. I was under the impression that Ford had ā€œfirmware lockedā€ out SR owners from doing this. But hopefully you can figure it out- keep us updated!!!!

Impressed you’re even willing to try this. Definitely following this thread out of curiosity.

Once the SR battery is out, and programming aside, it should be relatively plug and play…right? I could be totally wrong.

The Munro Live tear down videos will likely be your friend.

Cool project!

I'm guessing the hardware hookups will be straight-forward. However, I suspect you'll need significant changes to your software and firmware, probably using both FDRS and FORScan.

IIRC, the ER trucks have a beefier wiring harness to pull juice faster. You should get the longer range but will have a slower 0-60 and be limited to 10.5 kW AC charging.

I'm not sure portable is possible at 1800lbs.

Yeah I have no idea what to expect on the programming side of things.

Extended range is all I'm after. I have no need for more speed. It's stupid fast enough. I don't have the 80a Ford charger so anything above my current 48a charger a moot point for me.

In for the results. Shouldn't be too difficult to move around if you have a lift and a lift table. Those are essential.
