I believe tesla chargers have offered this speed of charging to some for some time now. Tesla themselves can go over 600a. There were a few reports of 190kw on the lightnings many months ago which would be 500kw consumed.

It often takes thousands of products and many many miles of testing to determine if something is detrimental. Ford now has three years of owners information to start to evaluate dcfc and its effects on battery degredation. Tesla DNA others have literally been doing this for over a decade now.

The 10 minute and drop-off thing is a Ford deal, not EA.
The drop off is a charging thing. None keep max rate all the way through. We have a Tesla as well, and frankly I'm not impressed with it's charging. The curve is not great, and falls off really really fast

Only if it works...I have an update past where that was supposed to work but it's not working. I'm wondering if the truck is missing a different update in a different module or something that makes that work.

But more critically I'm also missing karaoke...
It has worked well for me. Pre-xonditioning, and routing and charger planning. AA is conservative on its estimated charge on arrival, but I much rather that than optimistic.

Yes, of course, and well known. Pointing out that the 10 minute boost and then rapid drop is the truck, not the charger.
Have you seen Tesla's charging curve? Their max charge rate lasts about enough time to blink and then it's gone. Only get anywhere near the max rate of at a very low SOC. Pull up with 15% and your going to WTH???? Still there are plenty that do better than the Lightning,.many much better, and some very noteable much worse..

I for one am happy for any improvement, and 11% is a nice bonus from when I bought it. Sure would loveuch faster, but there are limitations to the current configuration.

Did you ever figure out a solution to this? I got the truck on a week ago so I could not tell what version it was on, then I got the 10.1.1 update three days ago. Android Auto will not show charge info for me, so I am in the same boat as you.

I have been unable to find a solution. Ive tried removing one of the 2 Google accounts on my phone (even though it was always connecting to the correct one). I've tried enabling all the Ford services possible on the chance it's tied to one of those. Rebooted phone. Used my wife's phone.

Still running stuck.

Hmm, wondering where this update is stuck at now...
I'm guessing they are working on the error resolution patch first, then update the 10.3.0 code.

Deploy the fix first to affected trucks, then revised 10.3.x to the rest of us.

I'm getting my Window update tonight. Hopefully that means BC not far behind. Still not on 10.3 either, but BC 1.4 more important to me right now. I have a road trip I want to do, but holding off for nicer weather and hopefully BC.

I believe 10.3.0 is still on hold for retooling and a fix for those negatively affected when it first rolled out.

Ahh. Ok. I was wondering because I was caught up and just got the window update. A lot of noise was made about the charging speed update, but I have yet to get it. Must just be for the influencers first. Any word on getting the updates from the 24 trucks (let alone the 25 updates)?

This update never reached my truck, plug pulled before general distribution I think.....
No word as to when a stream lined fix and resumption of roll out will be happening.

No reason they shouldn't have it straight by now. I updated everything in FDRS on mine last October and have been charging at 500 amps since then so a lot of us have had it for a while. The updates are still there in FDRS as I updated a SR last weekend and it was able to charge at 500 amps after.

But those would be individual module updates installed manually, while OTA's are packaged for wide automated installation with no special tools.

Over the past 3 years I've seen several OTA's get cancelled mid deployment never to be seen again.

They repack the goodies in with a newer OTA, could be that the key elements are reaching trucks under a new but less "descriptive" release.
