You do realize that the buckle just has a cavity where the standard Ford fob sits in. The buckle itself is not a fob.

I love it, but I'm also confused. How do you push the buttons on it while it's in the buckle? I assume the only thing it's really good for is putting it near your truck so it'll unlock when you grab the door handle and start when you push the dash button.

Correct. I haven’t pushed a button on my fob since I received the update that enabled walkaway lock.
