25C69 Recall - Ford Recalls 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning Over Rollaway Risk

After performing the recall for 25C69 my battery failed and they replaced it. Then the check engine light came on and my truck was in the shop for 3 weeks! Here is what they did to get it fixed (directly from the invoice)

PPT AI AGAIN THIS TIME AFTER RUNNING A/C AN HEAT FOR 20 MINUTES

Looks like it was a bad heat pump.

I got a cold call today from my local dealership indicating my '23 Lightning had an outstanding recall (25C69) that qualified for mobile service. If I was interested they would be happy to schedule me for the service. So I'm on the books for next Monday afternoon for a mobile service call at the house to apply the update.

Lucky duck, I asked if Tasca did mobile service, NOPE, bring it in and should be done ~3 to 4 hours later, suspecting the long time frame in case they need to swap the tailgate light bar after reprogramming the parking module.

That's a bummer. I've had good previous experience with this mobile service team. And when mobile service wasn't able to cover the work, they came and picked up my truck and brought it back when completed.

I just had my 2022 in for the recall and yes it took just over three hours from when they started the update before I was out of there.

I got my truck back Friday afternoon, all seems well with no problems or lost settings.

They have no way to turn off the 30k service reminder, and blame the Ford App for flawed data.

It’s possible they didn’t get to your truck until like 2pm and realized it was 5 o’clock somewhere and needed to start the weekend.

My dealer did the mobile service for my 23 Lariat in my driveway. This update and I think he said 2 other ones was done in under an hour. Something’s not right with yours or your dealer fucked something up.

Wild. Just did mine and it took 30 min. 2024, not sure that matters.

My local dealer sends out mailers about how they have mobile service, and if you call and ask for it, they don't know anything about it.
