I was just greeted with every possible light in the dash. Guessing it’s time for a new 12v - can someone point me to what battery to buy at a local advance auto or Napa?

I do not have forscan or anything similar - is the 12v plug and play?

Thank you

I just had the LVB replaced in my 23 er as well. I took the truck to a dealership for its 10000 mile checkup and a LVB message i had on the phone. Also the truck wasn't taking OTA updates and completing them, They did the battery test and replaced free of charge. only down side was the dealership had the truck for 5 days.........
p/n for the battery they put in my truck is.

I was able to get the truck started. My local dealer parts department is a rock star and was able to order a new battery to be delivered today. Picking it up soon. I’d drop it off for service but I need something to drive. Will eat this cost of the 12v.

Was hoping to swap it in the parking lot. I have a 10mm, maybe service can let me borrow an 8mm.

You need to charge the 12v fully, then reset the BMS (instructions easily found online).

CCA doesn’t really correlate to longevity. Especially when there is never any cranking load.

It gets cold here

Link to instructions?

Turn the truck on to accessory.
Flash the headlights 5 times.
Then press the brake pedal 3 times.
The battery icon will flash 3 times.

Quick update. While picking up the battery, I popped in at service. Service adviser pulled up a ton of codes - he said there is nothing that shows that my low voltage battery is low, however BCM was showing camera and some other errors. Recommended bringing it in, so I booked an appointment. This morning, I pulled the negative terminal for 30 seconds, all codes disappeared and the truck started. I have since driven 80 miles.

Thoughts?

AutoZone is a good place to buy a reasonably priced replacement 12V accessory battery. See my attached pictures. You can buy from their local store for $244.00. There is a $22.00 credit for the core.

It is not my battery. There’s some other issue. I tested my battery - it is fully charged. See picture above.

I stopped by service, and service advisor was able to pull the codes via FordPass. He recommended I take the truck in for service. I scheduled an appointment, will report back in the thread. I haven’t turned in my truck but I already miss it.

This is why I have a quarterly calendar reminder to pull the negative wire from the battery for 20-30 minutes (I usually do it on the weekend while doing other things).
Seems it sometimes needs a good ole cold boot, just like old school computers back in the day.

Question, do you have your truck connected to your home wifi to do updates with? That is something I do to help with it grabbing updates fast and hopefully not utilize as much of the 12v battery when updating. Just something to think about.

I pull the negative terminal when I rotate tires.
I charge the truck on level 2 every night.
The truck is connected to wifi every night.
It’s under warranty - I’ll take it in. I miss it already and I still have it
