Here's your message with corrected grammar:

My 2023 Ford Lightning is not charging for me. I had it towed to the dealership. They put it on their charger and said it was just fine. After having my truck for a week, I picked it up and almost ran out of energy because it wouldn’t charge at any station. I had it towed back in. The same thing happened; they said they did resets and updated the system with no charging problems at the dealership, then sent it back home.

The third time, I ran low on charge, and I was at 100 miles trying to find charging stations that worked—Level 2 and Level 3 stations like Evo and Gravity were a no-go. I took it to a different dealership, and they changed the battery, then sent it home. The truck did the same thing again. I took it back to the dealership, and they called Ford; now they don’t know what to do. The dealership and Ford are confused, but I have 29,000 miles on it, so I can’t get another one. I hate this truck . The dealership took I was lying. Until it wouldn’t on there blue oval network

Currently my truck won't DCFC at any location. I have tried 3 different Electrify America locations and 1 Rivian Adventure. My Nissan Ariya DCFC at those locations just fine. I get a red ring light error after about 30 seconds and then the DCFC screen says communication error. I have it at the dealership now waiting for them to work on it. I can Level 2 charge on a 48amp charger at home just fine. Not sure why DCFC is broken but hopefully will find out soon. The dealership I have went to for all my Fords isn't very good with EV and even the most basic issues take multiple weeks. At least they gave me a lightning for a loaner this time.

Go to another Ford dealer, the one you're using has idiots in the service department.

Why is this a poll? Did OP click Post a poll instead of Post thread? And we're allowed to answer both Yes and No?

Do you get to make the rules?

Seems they are just sharing they have a similar experience to the OP, which happens many times here.

Maybe let the admins (@TaxmanHog) moderate

Can you record a video of what you're experiencing?

Strange that it will charge fine at a dealership, but nowhere that you try.

But also... how did you manage to get 29,000 miles on a vehicle that doesn't charge? Is this just a recent development, and you had no issues charging before it started?

Yeah, but they're talking about only DCFC, while the OP specifically mentions L2 charging. DC chargers tend to be flaky and have compatibility issues across various brands, so I don't find it too surprising when there are issues there. But J1772 L2 charging has been solid for over a decade.

I wonder if there's just something physically stuck in the OP's charge port that doesn't allow the plug to seat correctly.

This thread is tough to follow but it sounds like OP can AC charge fine but not DC charge. It could simply be a DC charge station issue and not the truck (you’d see a message on the dash that says it’s the DC station having issues.. can’t recall the exact message). I’ve been to many DC chargers that should work but I get the red ring. I eventually find another one that works. Or it could be an issue with the trucks ability to DC charge - there’s posts on here about that too.

OBCC module updates are released to address issues with DC fast chargers. It's possible that this truck needs somebody to check and update the OBCC module (if there's an update available) as part of the diagnostic steps to determining corrective action.

I took it to a different dealership, and they changed the battery, then sent it home. ... Until it wouldn’t on there blue oval network
Do you mean the 12v battery? How did Ford confirm it wasn't working on Blue Oval Network, did they take it to a DCFC? Prior to this, it sounds like they only tested on a local level 2 EVSE.

How do you normally charge prior to this issue?

Yeah, but they're talking about only DCFC, while the OP specifically mentions L2 charging. DC chargers tend to be flaky and have compatibility issues across various brands, so I don't find it too surprising when there are issues there. But J1772 L2 charging has been solid for over a decade.

Since the OP posted a poll with a generic "Does it charge" question, the reply is technically on topic. There's no confusion here, it was specific and detailed. I suspect some confusion about level 2 charging from the OP, since they also used the term level 3 which is not a proper term for DCFC. What level 2 options did they try? Was it a public or private EVSE? If the OP only tested DC charging and the dealership was able to successfully charge on AC (level 2), it's possible the OP is only having a DCFC problem as well. Hence my inquiry about prior charging habits to help shed some light.
