My modules were all updated as of mid-May 2025 and I only have a pending frunk update now (not worth the $50 IMHO)... and on my 2023 XLT with its 12-inch screen, this doesn't (yet) work.

I greatly appreciate the heads-up and the discussion!

I have a 22 XLT with all of the current OTA updates, Including the Sync version listed on the first page. My 3rd digit was already a 6 and the 4th digit was a 4. Changing the 4th digit to a six did absolutely nothing on my truck. I guess I am missing the other updates that have to be done via FDRS.

Not missing much. Only upside atm is having the charging speed on the center screen without having to jump through hoops to get it on the IPC like 24+.

It’s going to be a bummer if our 22’ and 23’ trucks can’t do this because of PCM module hardware that only 24’ and above have.

I was hoping I would at least see the charging rate on that screen, but It didn't change a single thing at all. The screen looked and preformed the exact same as before changing the value. I could care less at this point about limiting DC Fast Charging, but I would love the option of limiting AC Charging on the truck side.

I changed my 4 to a 6 and it appears I have enabled these features. I haven’t done any testing other than seeing the charging rate.

Thank you for providing this information for us to try. I can confirm that this doesn't yet work on my XLT SR. All relevant modules were updated in mid April. I have left it enabled in preparation for whatever future update might provide the missing piece.

Let us know if you lose your charge locations and/or if resets your charge limits.

Okay I tried this out. 23 Lariat ER that just had two battery modules replaced a week ago and the EV Tech told me that he updated every module and everthing that could be updated was. Made the zero a two in Forscan. It appeared on my screen and I like the look! I think you could use it daily but it is buggy when it comes to the global charge settings. Any changes to amperage etc will not stick. The best thing to do is press reset in that screen exit and save. Everything will be saved to max even though it doesn't look like it on the main screen. The charge location scheduling and percentage saved just fine. Another bug is that it recommends 100% as the optimal charge level.

Thank You for testing it. That sounds how mine behaved. I played with it some last night

I could turn the location off in the truck and it was off in Fordpass as well. The issue was I couldnt turn the charging location back on in Fordpass only the truck.
