Just got an alert that bluecruise is now avail for the next 3 months. I didn’t purchase it. My free trial expired back in June, 3 months after I bought the truck. Got the BC 1.4 software update a couple months ago.

I would be willing to pay $80 for a year. I would NOT be willing to pay $400. In the beginning they wanted $800.

I've seen speculation that it's to get '24 owners to try BC again now that 1.4 has gone out. As yet, I haven't seen anything about a new trial for my 25, so that would make sense.

My three month trial after buying my truck ended in late May. My BC updated to BC 1.4 some while after the trial ended. For a trip last weekend I bought a month using rewards, so that is currently active. I have not received the offer shown above.

@Ford Motor Company how do you decide who gets these offers?

People with the same model year and trim level as me are getting this. Why not me?

maybe it’s the same nonsensical logic you use to decide who is worthy of OTA updates?

I got a survey today from Ford about BlueCruise. It talked about new features and different pricing tiers and what I would prefer (Things like pricing tiers to unlock more features or daily purchase options). It looks like they might be re-evaluating how to best get more uptick for the product.

Personally I installed a comma 3x, solely to get rid of the keep hands on the steering wheel nag, my hands are on the steering wheel, I just don't feel it's appropriate to steer in the wrong direction to prove my hands are there. It's had the added benefit of letting me sing in the truck without getting nagged about paying attention. I'm still watching while I sing...
That being said it's not all peaches and cream, I miss the feature for turning on the blinker and it waits for when it can merge. The comma will complain when I'm parking that I'm not paying attention, and it also does it at a drive thru. The comma also occasionally requires a reboot for a CAN bus communication error. If BlueCruise were capable of reducing if not eliminating these problems, it might be worth it, but until that day passes, I'm definitely content with my comma.

Got this too. I had signed up for a month in September and it expired recently, so that's nice. It was close to worthless on my road trip but at least it works 95% of the time on my commute
