yeah just one 360 ohm resistor soldered on the board between A10/A11. Resistor side goes toward the comma when hooking it up. I'd just mail you the one I was using but I'm 2 hours away from it and won't be back there for a week or two.

This is great information. Thank you for the help. Much appreciated.

If you have a soldering iron, you can create a temporary board to stop the startup errors while you wait. Left is the temprary one I was using in a 3d printed case and right is @UncleTony's.

You can add a touch of glue to the inside male side to keep it from pushing into the case. You can also heat the top side wire of that resistor to get the solder to flow into the hole. You may end up with a weak solder joint if its only holding the resistor in on the bottom.

Probably missed it, how was 360 ohm resistor figured for reducing CAN Bus reflections at the C3X end?

edit: found the explanation in posts #548, #551

ha. I had planned on adding more solder after I made sure it worked but got lazy and didn't feel like unhooking it. And I knew I had your fancy one coming so didn't need to last long. 😁

It doesn't need to be at the end. It can be put wherever. But it is the correct size to place both effected CAN Buses in the correct range. There is a more detailed explanation further back in the thread.

2025 lightning flash, 2023 MachE GT
I’ve had lots of request over the years for a dash mounted quick dock. I’ve made a prototype that will fit on the LCD of a MachE or a Lightning. In my opinion, it’s as bad as I always thought it would be, I feel like it blocks more of the road rather than less, but I want some feedback from everyone else. Is this something you would be interested in if I finish the design? It takes a lot of hours and filament to work out all the final details in a design like this, and I’m not particularly inclined to keep going unless there is strong interest.

it really can’t be any lower, there is only 5mm of bracket over the top, any less would be too weak to support the comma.

Here is what the mount looks like in the lightning. There are a few tweaks that need to be made yet. If you are on the taller side you will see that it obscures mostly the view of the hood and a small area right in front of the truck. For example in the picture from my height 6’3” you will see a cyclist visible between the comma unit and the mirror. If this was the windshield mount the cyclist would be positioned behind the comma unit. It is definitely not for everyone but it could be a nice alternative to the windshield mount.
Also thanks to Ajzride for taking on this design
