Did your coupler case come split like that? It looks like it is starting to separate on the edge.

My early version from the first batch of couplers was splitting like @itsjmod's when I received it. I wrapped a zip tie around it and it's been fine. Never thought anything else about it until this post. Possibly a manufacturing issue?

I print the case myself is why I was asking. The original case was made from normal ASA, the newer cases use Glass filled ASA, which has locked in place well enough I haven't been gluing them. But if they are splitting apart, I need to change them so they stay together properly. They are press fit, so if they start coming apart, you can always press them back together as long as the ridge and mating surface isn't broken.

I am going to make the case available on thingiverse once my account allows me to upload. (New account) so you guys that are able can print a replacement if needed.

I have been using:
Siraya Tech Fibreheart ASA-GF
Polymaker ASA - Pop Blue

I will revisit the design and see if how to improve it for future orders.

I've been working on it for 3 days now:

watching this now as i'll probably order a comma in march-ish.

we need these connectors to make units work well with bluepilot? or is the new stock harness enough to get going w/o your newly designed dock?

the dock is just for convenience. Taking it in and out without having to disconnect cables. The only aftermarket item you really need is the Lightning specific coupler with built in resistors.

Can you post a pic of this little coupler please? Want to see if it’s like the one I saw in a you tube video.
