Pinch me. It finally landed for my 2023 Lariat ER this morning. So, if you’re still waiting, there is hope.

My brother’s Flash has had the update since new. I’ve been kind of jealous. It’s good to see that we’re not being left out as 2023 owners.

Got mine on Friday. 2022 Platinum. I've had it in the Mach E for nearly two years. I freaking LOVE it in the truck. The biggest improvement is the braking when a car changes lanes in front of you. It was so dramatic before. Now it's more gentle, which is fantastic. No more whiplash.

Got it for my '22 on friday. Overall didn't notice too much difference yet. I used it on the Baltimore beltway, seemed about the same.
I'm in Owings Mills and used it on 695 as well. In my experience it stays on 100% of the time now. Before it turned off on minor curves. And the braking is much more refined when someone changes lanes in front of you. Hopefully you notice some improvements!

Interesting, my ipma was updated and I self enabled 1.4 and I think the way mine brakes when a car changes to my lane is super abrupt.

I wish it could follow closer. It's just half a car length too far where everyone sees it as an opening

My 24 flash got it last week on its 1 year anniversary.
Took a 180 mile trip on Saturday and it was incredible. And a 120 mile trip Sunday with my mom, a typical back seat driver. Thought it was going to freak her out with no hands. But actually it impressed her so much that she asked if she purchased a vehicle like mine, would she be able to drive again.
She's 85 and her vision is bad. I told her that she would never pass the dmv vision test. Not to mention it's not self driving and she never drove the freeways, just the streets.

So basically if it was good enough for momma, it's good enough for everyone. Seriously she's the worst back seat driver and this didn't even make her flinch.

But I agree, breaking when others merge or traffic slows is much more harsh than I would slow on my own. We can see further down the road and can anticipate the merge better than AI.

The other thing I noticed when driving Saturday after leaving the house early 5:15am. Driving 90 miles was great. But after playing 3 softball games , (105 degrees) and coming home in traffic, you really need to pay attention as it's easy to doze off since you're not really interacting. What I did was call a friend and keep active on the phone..kept me much more aware and awake. But think about it. Waymo is all atomonus, Ford is not, yet.
It's only going to get better with time.

Ford, you impressed Momma, that's impressive.

I appreciate the refreshed thread, rather than wading thru all 44 pages of the old thread.

Sorry @TaxmanHog. It’s been such a long wait for the early adopters that I started a fresh thread. Feel free to merge. Thank you!
Agreed. This is my Lightning's 3rd anniversary and I'm still waiting for my BlueCruise 1.4 update.

Yeah for me to really get an idea of the improvements I'll have to try it on the curvy parts of the western PA turnpike. It always disengaged there, didn't slow for tight turns, etc
