Confirming I got this update too and it seems to work nicely. I like how I can set the horn to beep only for walkway lock but no horn on normal locks.

Just got updated OTA and Walk-Away Lock feature was added to truck. tested it, and it is working.
you could activate it form the Lock menu

Just noticed I got the second update. I never saw the notification in the truck but I noticed in the app when I went to remote start. Confirmed I have the toggles for WAL. Have not tried it out yet.

Got this update this morning after taking my wife to a doctor's appointment.

I used remote start before we left the house, I checked for any pending updates but nothing new at that point.

After we arrived at the clinic, I did a couple of key cycles, then got a pop up saying Sync was updating and certain features may not be available for a few minutes.

So this is a non inhibit update, about 3 minutes later another pop up stating update completed.

Nothing on Fordpass yet, so I did another key cycle, then the status of software updates in Fordpass reflected this morning's update.

I now have WAL switch controls, I turned it on for now and switched off the honk notification.

I got this update on Monday. I have no toggles and it does not activate. 2023 Lariat ER. I’m still on standard Bluecruise with no lane change.

I recieved this update 3 days ago on my '23 Platinum and all toggles appeared. Have not tested any WAL features but I now have lane change and lane centering. Prior to this neither was available. Seems like this update let me access BC 1.2+ which lurked in my truck all along.

Now on to 1.4?

Got home from the appointments & coffee stop, the WAL functioned as expected, got a little jingle notification on the phone to remind me the doors are now locked, looked back to see that the sideview mirrors auto folded as expected.

Got this update a few days ago and am still giddy every time I hear the truck honk as it locks when I walk away. It took a couple of years but this checks off one of my last feature wish list items

Got the update on 10/6/25. Interesting that, as installed, the horn honk was off by default. I get FP notifications on my iPhone and Apple Watch if the truck is unlocked when I walk away, none if it is locked. When I park in my garage and have the frunk open to trickle charge my 12V battery, the walk-away lock appears inhibited, and my truck remains unlocked as I want it to. So, that all works out the way I want. I'll continue to manually lock my truck via the door keypad with a two-button press, and the walk-away lock serves as a nice backup in case I forget, as I have on occasion. And my truck will be unlocked if I park it in the garage to trickle charge, but not if I leave it outside in my driveway.

I have found the same that having the frunk, tailgate, or both open inhibits WAL.
