Got the Rear Mud Flaps installed yesterday and this morning on my Wife's XLT @TexasGardeningGirl and my PRO.

They aren't too bad to install, but definitely not SNAP ON. The first one took forever as I had to make the template for the PPF. This is something @Ford Motor Company should have included with the Mud Flaps/Splash guards. We had a 2013 Nissan Froniter that I added OEM mud flaps to and it came with precut PPF. ?‍

One tip for putting on the clips in the picture below. Use soemthing to pry it open as it slips over teh top of the flap that wraps the fender. I was able to insert a 1/4 socket driver and open it enough to help slip them on. Your fingers will thank you.

Now to do the Fronts when they come into the dealer. Those should be easier to install

I added back in three of the ambient lights that were deleted for 2022 (and I presume still for 2023): cupholder ring, console storage area, and glove box. Note footwell lights were included already.

Removed the awful safety stickers from the sun visors the weekend. It is sure nice to have a 120 V outlet in the dash to plug in the heat gun!

I thought about it for ma CG Pro, but my bumper is black and if I painted the grille, it'd just make the bumper stick out like a sore thumb, so I'd have to paint that too..which also means the rear bumper needs paint as well lol. Then I'll worry about rock chips and go spend more money on 3M clear film. It never ends.

I started by laying a paper towel soaked in alcohol on them for 15 minutes or so after watching a couple YouTube videos, but it didn't seem to loosen them up. When I started pulling them it was leaving all the glue, so I tried the heat gun. After that they came right off easily. The little bit of glue left was scrubbed off with a toothbrush and some 3M adhesive remover. It took about a half hour.

This is not necessarily something I did to my lightening today. I had help with this one. I thought I parked far enough in Lows parking lot but someone found a way to bang a shopping cart to my door and leave a dent. If it was anything else, the running board would protect it. I know this is not the thread for it but I needed to vent somewhere since I couldn’t find the dude that did it.
