In my driveway it sets now, before it would set every once in awhile. My driveway has a normal slope. What do you notice, something happening when placed into Park, or something different when pulling / putting the emergency brake on?
I've got both of those recalls sitting out there on my new to me '23 Lariat ER. I am curious how the OTA updates work. Just scanning a lot of threads here, it seems that it's often like winning the lottery? You never know when or if the recalls or other software updates will occur. I wish there was a way of manually pushing software updates when connected to wifi at the house. The dealership that does EV stuff well is about 25 miles away from me and it can be a hassle to work out a time with them.Ditto... '23 XLT ER

Welcome to the forum with your first post, as for OTA's ..... distribution is controlled by the FoMoCo Magiculator, take a number and stand in line, some recalls that are popular now don't have OTA's yet.I've got both of those recalls sitting out there on my new to me '23 Lariat ER. Definitely try Long McArthur. Tim, aka @FordVideoGuy, is the Internet Sales Manager and has owned a Lightning and a Mach-E over the years. I think they have sold a decent number of Lightnings and Mach-E’s despite being in ICE truck country.Thanks. They have been my first choice on the list. That's where I got my mud flaps. When I first bot it on 9-30-25, last day of the tax credits, I drove it home from Independence, MO and stopped by their shop out behind about midnight that night, I unplugged an Amazon truck from their free charger and charged for a half hour at 10% charge to give me a few more % before the last 30 miles to home. They sell a lot of ford trucks there and more than the other dealers around except for maybe Wichita.
OK. I did get a call a couple days ago from the Kansas City dealer about scheduling mobile service but I told them I was leaving for Colorado for a couple weeks and to call me back. Maybe I'll try Tim first especially since it would likely be their mobile guy coming out unless it is someone from Wichita.Definitely try Long McArthur. Updating in fdrs can flush out pending updates if they were hung for one reason or anotherMobile tech came out and installed today. Software update only. took about 10 minutes. immediately afterward Started truck to move it back under the carport and immediately got an on-screen message that tonight PT-25.8.5 Charge Port Functionality and Cold Weather Performance would install tonight. Doesn't seem like this would be dependent on the IPM but a big coincidence never-the-less.
Update from my issue. Received my repaired and updated truck back on 4/1. Per tech notes "completed open recall 25C69. After recall instrument cluster went blank. confirmed no communication with IPC and IPC is black." They performed additional tests, sent the data to Ford who confirmed the need for an instrument cluster replacement. Took a few weeks to get a good one in and only a day to install, program and test. No issues since.I brought my 2025 Lariat to the dealership two days ago for this update. The service advisor let me know that the update failed and my instrument cluster was no longer working. The update from the team yesterday was they were waiting on Ford to approve replacing the instrument cluster completely. I don't know what troubleshooting steps they performed ( 12v, fuses, etc ) but will post an update once this is resolved or I have further information. Wish me luck!
That is a potential solution, but you'll need to take action when you've had enough with the delays in repair. Will Ford do a buyback and give me a replacement if they can't fix it?
