Hello F-150 Lightning owners,
Dropping in with a positive update on a charging issue a few of you have run into.
Some owners of 2024 and 2025 F-150 Lightning trucks using the Ford Charge Station Pro noticed an issue where if a charging schedule was set, the truck might not start charging if it was plugged in before the scheduled start time.
I'm happy to report that we are rolling out an over-the-air (OTA) software update to the charger to address this. Please make sure your charger is connected to Wi-Fi to receive the update and ensure it is not plugged into your truck. Here’s some additional guidance on how to connect your vehicle to Wi-Fi.
To confirm your charger received the update, you can download the Ford Charge Station Pro app and select the “About” tab under “Station Details”. The correct software version is 2.500.34-ford.27+26-08. If you don’t have it yet, you should receive it soon.
Thanks for your patience and for the feedback you provide here in the forums. It makes a difference.
If you continue to have any trouble with your charging experience, please give the Customer Relationship Center (CRC) a call at 1-800-392-FORD (3673) to get it logged and looked at.
