Said that wrong only certain my and trim get it so far. For whatever reason prob test run

I tried to get it and 2024 lariats have not been released, I got put in call list from the mobile tech once released.

The current fix that has been released to certain model year and trim is only by a dealer or mobile tech update, OTA is not out yet

We just got the letter about this in the mail, but similar to the light bar, it said there were no fixes available yet. Stay posted.

Dealer just called me and cancelled the appointment, fix isn’t ready.

Following along with this. I have been in the market for a Lightning for about a month and went to buy one last weekend and found out all dealerships have a stop sale on Lightnings due to this recall.

I was able to bring one home today. Evidently they released the fix for the Mach-E while I was in negotiating price, expecting to put a deposit down. Evidently the Lighting fix is the same. They ran the fix on a Mach-E first and then my new Lightning second. They said everything looked good and now it’s sitting in the driveway. I’ve got a lot of reading to do on this site now.

I think they pushed an update to my truck because I have noticed today that anytime I put the truck in park the parking brake automatically sets even if I'm on perfectly level ground. Previously it would only do this if I was on a steep incline. Now it automatically sets the brake always.

That is a better option for me. I always set the parking brake - a nice time saver. My wife's RAV4 Hybrid sets the brake automatically as well. Maybe all cars should do it for safety or make a dash menu configurable option.

Mine does the same thing but only on an incline. One of my driveways is a 4º slope and it'll auto set every time, my other driveway is flat and it does not auto set there or in the parking lot at work which is also flat.

The recall vanished from the app for my truck and 2-3 days later I get the letter, lol.
