25C69 Recall - Ford Recalls 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning Over Rollaway Risk

I brought my 2025 Lariat to the dealership two days ago for this update. The service advisor let me know that the update failed and my instrument cluster was no longer working. The update from the team yesterday was they were waiting on Ford to approve replacing the instrument cluster completely. I don't know what troubleshooting steps they performed ( 12v, fuses, etc ) but will post an update once this is resolved or I have further information. Wish me luck!

I have the parking pawl recall on ford.com.
Is this the same as the the parking brake recall y'all are talking about because I've never had that recall If it's separate.
But if it is the same, mine says a fix is not available yet

And of course, I now have the trailer recall. But I'll be waiting for the over the air update.

I'll second that request, my service advisor said it was available for my 2022 when I dropped off the truck this morning.

@Mike G could getting the 25C69 update first prevent the OTA for PT-25.13.12 from being sent since they both update the PCM?

That I don't know. I do know that the SOBDMC is the prime software update target of 25S69 and the PCM gets updated with it. So how they are working the both of those together

Hopefully my Tech is better informed than the SM and doesn't spin his wheels trying to do the 25c69 on my 2022.

Oi vey slight regret buying a 2023. Seems like I'll never get to take it home at this point, next week will be 2 months since I "bought" the truck

Got my truck back from service this afternoon, as pointed out previously, there is STILL a hold on 2022 & 2023 Lightning updates, the work order shows my request "NOT COMPLETED" do to lack of software.

sorry for your troubles, I had a very difficult time getting mine in 2024, even canceled the order at one time (5 months after it was built!) but when I finally got it I can tell you it's well worth the wait. I love this truck!
