Many years ago(20 or more) I was looking for a new insurance company and I am a consumer reports subscriber and they always recommended USAA and Amica as the top rated insurance companies!
I had a Amica for one year or maybe two and then they were raising their deductible on roofs from 1% to 2% so I started looking again and my Dad got a policy (I think he just got a $25 policy for jewelry or something) with USAA so that I could use it as a legacy. I cannot say enough about how good USAA is. I know they are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are definitely the best!

I tried to look on consumer reports(mobile app), but I could not find their insurance rankings??

Insurance premiums vary depending on location. I'm in a state i believe with the highest rate in the country thanks to hurricanes and flood! For the past 10 years our Insurance has been creeping up year after year! Zero claims but always $100 to $500 bump at renewal! So I frequently swap carriers with my agent.
Currently with progressive but will probably change again next month. The year before I was with National Insurance. I had Geico once but a long time ago.
I consider all Insurance companies the same. They collect your money but then are difficult to deal with when you actually need them. That is why I have no loyalty to any of them. I just go with the cheapest for the same amount of coverage. Good luck

They are not all the same. Zero difficulty with AMICA.

Join your state’s Farm Bureau and get your insurance through them. They are used to the sort of eclectic mix of vehicles you have. Rates are typically competitive after you add on the membership fee. Depending on your slant and state you may or may not be happy with their lobbying efforts paid for with your membership fee.

I have 3A for home and car. Your trailers liability is covered by the tow vehicle. I don't know what insurance you need for an atv

USAA, been covered with no problems. They are a little higher than progressive so I’m looking at that too.

Also check out Costco Insurance
Costco was great for my first Lightning, but upon purchasing my second one 3 months later they sent me a notice they were not going to renew me. They said it's commercial and they don't do commercial policies. Funny as the first one was insured and used the same as the second one.
I ended up going online. be carful when leaving your information while shopping online as you will get flooded with calls from every company and agent that picks up the info.

I did my own comparisons and Progressive came out the best for my 4 vehicles. Even beating my current Costco policy and Blew away my State Farm policy by a long shot.

Reached out to our old Allstate agent and instantly got a lower monthly than what we were paying w State Farm for better coverages (incl full replacement value) even before the recent incident, logic being that they also offer multiline discounts. I'd like to keep my home and umbrella with my friend at SF since this isn't his fault, but if the money makes more sense at Allstate, my loyalty and trust in SF have certainly been shaken...
Thanks and have a good day all

When Nationwide jacked up my homeowners insurance and was going to require a complete home inspection, I switched it to where I have had my autos for a long time, GEICO, and brought the rate back down to earth.

Never had a claim in 30 years but Nationwide didn't care - f-them.

All the bad climate change weather (bigger hurricanes and floods and fires) have driven insurance skyward lately.

My motorcycle and boat I do through Progressive, they are better for that type of insurance.

Just renewed my policy with Progressive: $985 for six months. That covers six vehicles and four drivers. My HO is with Allstate.
