I haven't been following this thread but have noticed that I had to reset the default charge percent after a couple times over the past 10 days charging to 100%. I had to reset to 85% and it works fine. as taxmanhog posted his, my recent updates are here for my 2023 Lariat.

So after seven days and nine (9) tries to install this OTA update, I finally succeeded just now. Many tries with many sequence variants to get the 12V battery up to top charge and for it to stay there... using the Clore charging & supply functions, and the 120V overnight Level 1 charging, and leaving the truck "ON" overnight, and sacrificing frogs in the moonlight, etc etc.

At times I felt like Gary Sinise in the 1990s Apollo 13 film, when he was testing stray voltages in the duplicate lunar lander module to save the in-flight astronauts.

But the good news is that all my radio presets stayed put.

FYI for others' use: when after right the update I reconnected my ancillary electric stuff like the dash cam, the rat flashing motion deterrent and the aftermarket 12V battery Bluetooth monitor dongle, I saw that the 12V battery showed a 49% state of charge. This despite it being on the Clore supply all morning prior to and during the update at a 14.3 Volts level.

Meaning, this update drains the livin' snot out of the 12V battery during the 20+ minutes of installation. And my 12V battery is only 6 weeks old.

That's why this one is giving everyone so much trouble and keeps delaying for 12v. It almost needs 1.21 gigawatts

This sounds silly, but did your truck ever get the battery monitor (on the ground terminal post) replaced? Even a good battery would show wrong with the defective battery monitor.

This sounds silly, but did your truck ever get the battery monitor (on the ground terminal post) replaced? Even a good battery would show wrong with the defective battery monitor.
I did check with the dealer back then... I honestly can't remember but I think they might have replaced it.

You probably don't want to know that I bought the replacement on Ford parts for $30 before their supply ran short and they jacked the price. I am glad it will be a simple fix though, and that is the reason for your issue.
