"Blue Smoke" in remembrance of conversations I occasionally had on the CB with a FHP Trouper in the Orlando area who called himself "Blue Smoke".
I usually called and talked to him between 1 and 4 AM as I blasted down the Fla Turnpike at 90 mph on my annual Christmas pilgrimage from Chattanooga to Key West. And my truck is Iced Blue Silver so it fits nicely.

Flash. That was 15 months ago. I was dismayed when Ford copied me and named their next gen Lightnings Flash too!

I have noticed that some of you refer to your Lightning by a given name. For years my wife and I have named our vehicles. The first Lightning we got is a XLT SR that we call Blitzen as in one of Santa's reindeer (Blitzen is the german word for lightning). When we added a second Lightning to our fleet, a Lariat XR, we christened it Edison.

What do you call your Lightning?

Truck, car, lightning, ford, f150, sometime irritating.

I never named a car before Ford Pass pushed me into it. My MME was Sal-E and my truck is Modi (https://vikingr.org/norse-gods-goddesses/modi) Initially I was going to go Mjolnir but wanted to be a bit more original, and all the variations of Mjolnir I could come up with were already taken for AZ's personalized plates. In retrospect Magni might have been the better choice since the truck better fits "might and strength" than it does "wrath and bravery". Well, now I'm going to go change it's name

Mine is named Lenny Lightning. My wife thought the name was friendly.

I named mine Tesla after the great inventor of.............just kidding, its Blue Lightning.

I had not thought of naming mine, but the tag shows LYTNING.

So I called out "LYTNING" several times. It just sat there and ignored me.

I tossed some 9 volt batteries in its frunk for treats. Still no response.

I think it might be a cat.
