Thanks to Puget Sound Energy, it’s 20¢/kWh at my house ALL THE TIME.

That’s level 2 at home. Much different than public dc fast charging. My home rate is .13cents kWh but .20cents for fast charging is pretty sweet.

Correct. Their stations have fully functioning payment terminals to swipe a card or use a contactless payment like Apple Pay. They’re also integrated into Ford’s Plug and Charge capability. So… you don’t need an app.

One less app (and account, linked card, etc) is a good thing for a lot of people.

We had a good turnout at Garner. Eight Lightning owners and seven Lightnings (one guy drove his Mach-E). People came and went so I didn’t get everybody at once. Kyle Conner from Out of Spec was also hosting at Garner so the place was packed all day.

Would loved to have participated with Ionna event, but I live in a DCFC desert for the most part. Closer Ionna is like 300+ miles from me.

I’ve watched their progress since the original announcement and I’m a fan for sure.

I wish there was an IONNA station closer to me. 20 cents / KWH is great for fast charging, but not worth driving 180 miles round trip to save 3.6 cents / KWH vs charging at home !
There are several more IONNA stations in the greater Los Angeles area shown as "Coming Soon", but right now, Vista (in San Diego county) is the closest to me.

Yeah, I thought about going to Vista just for the experience, but for me the round trip was over 250 miles.

I am in Las Vegas once a month and there is an iONNA station just down the street from my office nearing completion. I get really good membership rates at Tesla in LV - 26¢ off peak (and can L1 charge where I stay) - but I’d likely stop at iONNA on my way in and out of town.

Interestingly I met a local lightning owner there and he showed me it was free yesterday. But today he was charged the .20c rate.
