I also received the dreaded error message yesterday, and from what I have seen, there have been other owners with the same issue. I have 3,048 miles on my Lariat extended range.
Hey! Can you please send over a private message with your VIN and the name & location of your local Ford dealer? I would like to see what I can do to assist with your Lightning's powertrain messages.I also received the dreaded error message yesterday, and from what I have seen, there have been other owners with the same issue. Good morning. I'd like to take a closer look at your Lightning's powertrain issues. To get started, can you send over a message with your VIN and the name/location of your local Ford dealer?Powertrain malfunction for me also. Took an hour to limp it back to Ford dealership. No news yet.
Not sure if they are related, I have checked the other posts but haven't seen anything about the 12v...will check now, thanks for the tip!No I mean that is causing your other faults and if you have checked the actual posts on the 12v battery to ensure they are tight. Unless you are saying all of what you are experiencing is due to pro power test mode?
After executing the test, you must press the activation button in the bed to reset the trip condition, at least that is what I did after I tested mine the other day. (NOT A FIX FOR REDUCED TRACTION POWER)Will start a separate post, pro power has a test mode that is kicking a faulty circuit warning now.
