Is the Ford factory making Lightnings again?

I recall reading they froze production last month, but I wasn’t sure if the Lightning assembly line was still shut down or not. Just curious if anyone knows any info.

It either resumed on the 2nd or the 6th. I never paid attention to the REVC parking lot to see when it was full of cars.

Cannot make 2024 models in 2025. Can make 2025s in 2024s. So they are making 2025s.

Good to see they're churning out of the factory again. But not great to see the feature deletes keep happening.

"Order"? More like, select from stock. And that's usually at a "replenishment center;" whatever the hell that is.

The replenishment centers have stock that is preconfigured by Ford with certain fixed trim levels and color options. I was told there is 1 on the West coast, and 1 on the East coast. The one on the West coast is in Oakland, and that's where my Avalanche Lariat came from.

Started on January 6th.

They want to drain off the backlog of stock, in the meantime, spec builds continue like most of last year, not certain if they will open up ordering for customer specific special orders this year.
