Shit I'd go swap out mine for an extended range or Lariat twin if they'd just throw some "please for the love of god buy this truck" level incentives at it.


...and if trade in values weren't as bad as they currently are.

Ford is their own worst enemy. Any EV issue is going to be played up big, because for various reasons there is a lot of incentive for the media to be anti-EV. Of course this will be covered, a simple statement like "issues with the installation of the new heat pump" or "a rear seat bolt might be loose" would be much better than letting people think "OMG, they are catching fire!"

Yep. We usually sell vehicles after 2 years. I believe the Lightning will be the exception. Really hoping to get an entire new battery pack in a year or two.

I have usually kept my vehicles until its trade-in value is around $200. . I sold my Leaf after three years to get my lightning and this truck will probably be the last vehicle I purchase.
