Powertrain Malfunction/ Reduced Power

From what I was told it could take up to two months to get battery modules. I contacted Ford customer care and they started a case on my issue to see what they can do to expedite my repair.
Day 7 holiday after a weekend. ZERO CONTACT!!

DAY 10- I got a call from Ford customer care. They received an email from the dealership confirming I have a bad module in cell 2 (whatever that means) He can’t seem to reach my service advisor by phone to confirm that’s the only issue and how long the repair will take. -*reminder from my earlier post the dealership originally said around 2 months. That’s why I contacted Ford. STILL NO FOLLOW UP CALL FROM THE DEALERSHIP

Lemon law time. Depending on your state you can get them to replace it - which comes with a new federal credit. Only problem is how long till they have stock to replace it.

I agree, 2 months qualifies for Lemon Law. Might as well start the paperwork now.

No updates from the dealer.
No updates from Ford Customer Service.

No ETA, nothing.

It looks like nobody from Ford was prepared to face these issues.

Day 11. Same. Nothing more from Ford or the dealership. They know what needs to be repaired but stuck telling me from the dealer that it’s hard to get battery components with so many new trucks in production. I call BS!

That’s terrible. Have you started looking at other EV alternatives or ICE Trucks?

I’m stuck in my state. My issue doesn’t fit the criteria for the lemon law and I’m stuck with a truck payment. What the heck is ICE truck?

I just got that same dreaded Powertrain malfunction issue and had to get my truck towed to the dealership today. This sucks.

Yep! Just read this thread as my truck has been in shop waiting on parts. Totally frustrating.

Update: One of module (out of 9 total in the battery pack)needs to be replaced with an ETA of 1/23 for the parts. Cross my fingers that will fix the issue and none of the other 8 module fails.

Not in my case. I had the truck for over 6 months and 6k miles.
